Little Vera
This Film was a little weird and began to get a little irritating. The acting in this movie was very good but that was the only thing i liked. This movie showed the negative effects of alcohol and how it can ruin peoples lives, unlike all the other movies we have seen which alcohol was used as a celebration or just a normal drink which didn't effect ones life. This movie was very depressing and gave me an insight on the Russian family, lifestyle, fears and hopes. None of the characters are even likable enough to care about what happens to them.

I'm not sure I can go as far as you do here--to me it seems like we do care for Vera and for the father...even for the mother and the brother Viktor. But the negative effects created by alcohol and other things in this film certainly do pull things out of control.
